Bizim Eller carried out its hot-meal distribution project in Türkiye, as part of its efforts to support families and individuals facing growing economic difficulty in securing their daily food needs.
During the project, field teams distributed more than 2,500 hot meals to beneficiaries across a number of areas, with a focus on the families and individuals most in need.
The project aims to provide a ready, complete meal that reaches beneficiaries directly and eases part of the daily burden tied to food costs.
One beneficiary said:
“When the meal arrived, I felt a great sense of relief. Sometimes preparing a hot meal at the end of the day is hard, and this help eased a lot for us.”
The meals also reached families who gathered around one table. One beneficiary mother said:
“The best part of the meal was that we all sat and ate together. For us, it was a simple moment, but it brought some warmth back to the home.”
The project also helped ease part of the daily expenses for beneficiary families, allowing them to direct their limited resources to other needs such as housing, bills, and children’s essentials.
Another beneficiary said:
“I thank everyone who took part in this initiative. It may be one meal, but it came when I needed it, and that’s what makes it so valuable to me.”
The project falls within Bizim Eller’s programs dedicated to providing food aid and reaching the families and individuals most in need within Türkiye.
With more than 2,500 hot meals delivered to beneficiaries, the project continues to turn support into direct help that reaches families’ tables and eases part of the burden of daily life.
