Bizim Eller carried out its bread-distribution project in Lebanon, to support the families and individuals most in need and provide part of their daily food needs amid economic pressure and rising living costs.

During the project, more than 5,000 bread bundles were distributed to over 1,000 families and beneficiaries across a number of areas, with priority given to families facing difficult economic conditions.
Bizim Eller’s teams made sure to deliver the bread directly to beneficiaries, helping ease one of the recurring daily expenses for low-income families.

One beneficiary said:

“Bread is something we need every day, so when this help reaches us I feel it eases a lot for the family. The money I would have paid I can now use for something else my children need.”

Another beneficiary said:

“It may seem simple, but it isn’t simple for someone trying to cover every household expense. Every bread bundle that reached us meant one less expense on us.”

The project helped ease part of the recurring burdens on beneficiary families, letting them save part of their daily expenses and direct their limited resources to other needs such as medicine, children’s essentials, and bills.

One mother expressed the impact of the help:
“I thank everyone who took part in this initiative. When we know that someone is thinking of families in need, we feel a little safety amid all this pressure.”
